We are a progressive club looking to expand, and new members, of all abilities are always welcome. To increase opportunities for new and current members, we opened a second green for the 2007 season with 3 new teams; in 2008 we added two more teams, 2009 we added another team there, and in 2010 we have yet another 3 new teams on that green. All members have access to the grounds and bowling green from sunrise to sunset seven days a week.

Crown Green Bowling is a healthy, inexpensive, outdoor sport that is enjoyed by both sexes of all ages. Our top bowling green is of County standard and our excellent clubhouse, which has catering and bar facilities, is used for many social events during the year.

Whether you want competitive league bowling or just social bowling, we cater for all. We have 23 teams (all mixed except for two lady-only teams), bowling in ten different leagues on weekdays, evenings and weekends. There are numerous internal competitions to enter (on an open and handicap basis).
